| Four duos on the hexachord. The opus is found at end of the treatise La Cartella: Utile a gli figliuoli et principianti che desiderano con facilità imparare sicuramente il Canto Figurato (Giacomo Vincenti, Venice 1610). In the duos, the upper line is printed on the left-hand page and is called «DISCEPOLO», the lower, printed on the right-hand page, is called «MAESTRO». The pupil's line includes several solmization syllables. The two editions (1609 and 1613) do not differ at all and these duos have a close relationship with those found in the first edition of Cartella (1601). |
