Call, MsCensus, IV, p. 112
Nowak, «Vienna»Nowak was the first scholar to study this duo manuscript; he found the sources of several compositions.
notes

The manuscript contains 89 textless bicinia: there are very few rubrics throughout the two booklets. A more recent hand numbered the duos with Arabic figures and in all likelihood added a few rubrics. All the duos are anonymous – except the No. 50, attributed to «Ysaac» – and those that could have been identified so far are mass or magnificat sections. There are several concordances with Rhau (1545) and Munich MS 260. According to Call, MsCensus, IV, p. 112, the manuscript was compiled between 1515 and 1534, in all likelihood around 1521-25, in Brussels and in Mechlin.
